Anchor-Link’s GRP tank panels are hot pressed from sheet moulding compound (SMC) which mainly consists of isopthalic unsaturated polyester resin, glass rovings and fillers. The GRP water tanks are certified to SS 245, BS EN 13280 and MS 1390 by Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM).

Choice of GRP water tank reinforcements :-

GRP tank panels
Internally with SS tie rods of SS 304 or SS 316
GRP sectional water tanks
Externally by pair frames or I beams

For convenience of users, a wide range of panels are readily available to meet any eventuality tank size :-

Roof : 0.5m x 0.5m, 1.0m x 0.5m, 1.0m x 1.0m

Wall : 0.5m x 0.5m, 1.0m x 0.5m, 1.0m x 1.0m, 1.5m x 1.0m, 2.0m x 1.0m

Base : 0.5m x 0.5m, 1.0m x 0.5m, 1.0m x 1.0m

Insulated panels for use in extreme hot or cold weather conditions are also available. An insulated panel consists of a layer of polyurethane sandwiched in between the exposed panel surface and an outer protective SMC skin panel.
